CATHERINE Zeta-Jones has been named the most beautiful women in the world according to a worldwide poll of 8,000 women.  Catherine was particularly commended for her "style and grace".

The survey allowed women to vote for their all-time favourite beauty icons as they were in their heyday.  Second place went to Brigitte Bardot, third was Audrey Hepburn and Marilyn Monroe was placed fourth.

Surprisingly Angelina Jolie, who often claims the top spot in beauty polls, failed to make the top 50!
