I must admit I was personally disappointed to read that 'This Morning' TV presenter Fern Britton has admitted to having weight-loss surgery via gastric banding two years ago.  This surgery reduces the size of your stomach.  However, only days ago her representative claimed her new slim figure was down to a healthy lifestyle. In a statement, Fern - who is the face of dieters' favourite Ryvita - said she was "very pleased" with the results but added that she would not want to influence others to follow her lead.

It's a sign of how obsessed we are with weight.  I would say that if you want to lose weight and keep it off  then a good diet and exercise is by far the healthiest option, but I can see why the surgical option would appeal to someone in the public eye.

She looks good.But yea exercising and good diet are the key.
