Karl Lagerfeld, figurehead of  Chanel is said to be in discussions to sign 15 year old teenager Frances Bean Cobain - the daughter of actress Courtney Love and Nirvana singer Kurt Cobain - as the face of the luxury label.

"She is incredibly pretty and has the most perfect porcelain skin," a friend revealed. "She and her mother are having talks with Karl about Frances appearing in his next ad campaign."

If things go ahead Frances, whose father rock star Kurt Cobain died in 1991, will join the likes of British actress Keira Knightley - who is the face of Coco Mademoiselle perfume - in collaborating with the glamorous label.
