Bright make-up colours are back this summer. This week in the Daily Mail, make-up artist Kay Montano gave some tips on how to wear them in a flattering way.
"First, make sure any under eye circes and blemishes are concealed - a clear canvas is key to 'getting away with' a strong make-up look. Then choose the feature you would like to colour - the eyes or the lips. Simplicity keeps the make-up look chic, rather than kooky.
Make sure blusher is used to balance out the colour of the face and always finish with a coat of black mascara as this restores the right amount of traditionally pretty make-up and stops the colour from being overpowering.
Trust me, I've been testing these looks on red carpets for years."
