Applying Eyeshadow

I always pat a little foundation on my eyelids before applying eyeshadow.  It acts as a primer and stops my powder shadows going patchy and my cream shadows from creasing.

Re: Applying Eyeshadow

I actually do that too, I didn't know that many others did. You just have to be careful that you do not get any in your eyes! That has happened to me too, and it is not a fun thing to do. It really allows the color to stick better.

Thanks for sharing that wonderful tip. I could use some.

So that I would not be bothered at retouching every so often!

Re: Applying Eyeshadow

I do that too...it only not acts as a primer but it lets the color sticks to the skin longer. I use a liquid foundation first, then apply the make up, finish it with a face powder.

Re: Applying Eyeshadow

I also use foundation and apply it over my eyelids, I then apply eye shadow when I wear it as I dont too often.  I have never tried applying powder though so I may have to try that one.
