I came across Re-Gen Oil (by Silika) today in ASDA - it is a new specialist treatment for blemished skin.  It was shelved next to Bio Oil but like Rescue Oil is considerably cheaper.  I got a 75ml bottle for £1.73 

The blurb from Silika says it is:

"Formulated to include both natural and active ingredients to help support and regenerate skin with stretch marks, scars, blemishes, dryness and wrinkles.

This product is rich in Vitamins A and E, both of which are considered beneficial against long-term skin ageing by fighting oxidants present in the skin.

The active ingredient PCL LIQUID has excellent skin conditioning attributes for stretch marks and scars, however, when combined with the vitamins as well as registered natural ingredients including: Calendula, Lavender and Rosemary Oil, Re-Gen Oil will effectively promote skin regeneration.

Can also be used as a therapeutic Bath Oil."

I have a recent acne scar and I plan to use Re-Gen on it.  I will keep you posted on whether I see any improvement.  In the meantime, If anyone has already tried this new product, please give us your review.  Many thanks, Fi x

I can't rave about Re-Gen oil enough!  There has never been a product which has improved my skin so quickly.  I wonder what the magic ingredient is?  Anyway, I'm now going to start using it on my C-Section scar - but based on my face alone, Re-Gen gets my vote for beauty product of 2009!
