Home Remedies

Blackheads are tiny, dark spots caused by a small plug in the opening of a pore on the skin. Here's one of the best home remedy I've found for blackheads. You only need white egg and cotton wool/pad. Soak a large piece of cotton wool/pad in egg white (or you can also add a teaspoon of lemon juice in the egg white, it's up to you). Cover the affected area with the cotton wool/pad and allow drying and hardening completely. Carefully remove the dried cotton wool. With luck, the black heads would stick to the cotton wool and come off with it. Hope it works for you!

If you got cracked heels, you can either soak your feet in lemon juice for about 10 minutes (follow this therapy on a weekly basis until one finds a change) or apply the pulp of a ripe banana on the dry or cracked area of the heel for 10 minutes and rinse it clean (repeat this for several days and you will notice a definite improvement in the cracks).

And for the bad eyesight you can try this one. My aunt wore spec when she was younger. Now, she doesn't even need to wear spec anymore. This is what she did. She used to say 'seeing grass is good for your eyesight.' Every morning see the grass for 10 to 15 minutes because it will help you to improve your eyesight. I'm not sure how effective it is, but should give it a try though!

Re: Home Remedies

Do you mean just stare at the grass? I'm really short sighted so will try anything that doesn't leave the same indentations on my nose as my glasses do. I read in a magazine the other day about a contact lens that you wear overnight and it does something to correct the shape of your eye (only of you are shortsighted) and makes it so all the next day you can see without glasses or contacts - has anyone tried these? I'm a bit dubious firstly sleeping in contact lenses, it always gives me strange dreams and secondly does it actually work?

Not sure i could quite bring myself to cover my face in egg white!! I'll stay on the hunt for an blackhead removing product that works.

Re: Home Remedies

Well regarding eye lenses, I would suggest the opposite. One of my friends used to sleep while wearing them. And one day during sleep/half a sleep he rubbed his eyes (accidently) so vigorously that he got a very bad infection and had to be hospitalized.

I will definitely try out that black head technique, thank you.
