I used to blow dry my hair daily, and then someone told me that it is bad for your hair. I haven't noticed a bit of difference though since I stopped, and it has been quite a while since I have stopped. Is there any truth to this ?

I blow dry my hair daily but always use a blow dry spray (usually Charles Worthington's).  I have a Vogue Beauty book and Trevor Sorbie is quoted as saying that as "electrical appliances are thermostatically controlled ... they never get too hot to damage hair."  I think unless you use excessive heat and for a very long time, heat-styling your hair on a daily basis isn't that bad.  Trevor also goes on to say "No matter how bad appliances are, they are never as bad as the sun." 

I blow dry my hair once a month only ..
