hmmm......dry shampoo is good for oily hair emergencies! (which is the main cause of my bad hair days!)
Batiste dry shampoo (in a very distinctive green spray, or a new coconut smelling green and yellow one) is very good, but the smell, which I didn't mind at the beginning, is starting to get to me now when I use it. Lee Stafford's R U Taking Protection from Oily Roots? is also good, but Batiste is the best one for a real emergency!!
Twisting hair into a loose ponytail or bun is good, I find, and I read in some magazine that slicking your hair back with gel and putting it in a tight ponytail is good because then your hair looks glossy, not greasy!
If it's dry hair that's the problem, I like John Frieda spray serum, it gives great shine! And Umberto Gianni's Overnight Beauty Moisture Balm (a night cream for hair!) is really light and nice- it's not greasy, which is my biggest fear with cremes! I tried it last night and my hair was really bouncy and shiny this morning! A preventer of bad hair days if ever I heard one, anyway!
(As you have probably guessed, my hair is very unpredictable in that it can be very dry at times and also very greasy! And since it's blonde, it doesn't shine! *sighs*)
Hope something there helps!
