Best Shampoo?

What does everyone consider the best over the counter shampoo for hair? There are so many to choose from. Also, what would be the ones to avoid as well?

Re: Best Shampoo?
I believe there's no such thing as a perfect shampoo. You have to ask the following questions: -Is your hair dry? -Is it normal or oily? -Do you have dandruff? -Is your scalp sensitive? These are your major considerations in checking out over the counter shampoos. Because some may contain irritants or substances that can make your scalp itchy or cause allergy. So, be sure to stick to the shampoo that won't irritate your scalp or damage your hair.

Re: Best Shampoo?

I use Dove shampoo and tons of conditioner. Every shampoo seems to dry my hair out, at least with Dove shampoo and a bit of Dove conditioner I get a a bit of shine and do not look like I have got straw instead of hair.

Re: Best Shampoo?

I agree that there is no such perfect shampoo it's all chemicals.. so it's better that you buy three kinds of shampoos that's ok with your hair and use each one different time you wash your hair and don’t put lots of shampoo in your hair as I said it's chemicals so don’t think the more shampoo you put the cleaner your hair will be ..

Re: Best Shampoo?

Hi,

I have to agree I dont think there is a perfect shampoo and I often find that if I use the same one over again my hair becomes strawy.  I have tried many different shampoos that have various claims on how to improve your hair, my the only too that seem to work well with my hair is Herbal Essence and Pantene as my hair is very fine.  The worse product I have used on my hair was Fructis, it made my hair very greasy.  Just like butterflybh said I try to swap my two products each time I wash my hair x
