Boots Straighten?

Hi there everyone,

Just wondered if anyone has tried out the Boots Straighten kit that claims to smooth unruly hair? I've got quite wavy hair, not too much of a problem, but I worry about using my GHDs too much and am considering trying this out.

Any advice?

hi there :) i used this kit on my boyfriend when he had long hair (dont laugh) hehe. it left his hair soft and smooth, and ever so slightly straighter, but i wouldnt say its worth all the fuss. its messy, expensive and time consuming for minimul results.

Thanks roxsi, I haven't actually heard anyone rave about it so I did wonder how good it was.
If anyone ever came up with a home straightening potion that worked really well and was quite cheap too then we'd all be shouting it from the rooftops, huh? :)!

im one of those people everyone hates cos my hair is very straight naturally. the thing is ive always wanted curly hair, i think it looks so cute, but even an hour faffing about with curling tongs and hairspray wont give me curls that last more than a couple of hours, and i dont even want to talk about the perm incident a couple of years back lol.

What I would give even for a wave! It must be true that you always want what you can't have. I've got dead straight dark hair but inside I'm a blond with a mass of curls. lol
