I have my haircut every 6 weeks in the comfort of my own home! I hate going to the hairdressers & have never found it to be a luxury! I approached a lady in the hairdressers years ago about doing it at my house & she agreed...i have never looked back!

My hair is highlighted every 3 months too

Woah, i've just read this post and i'm a bit shocked. I only go about once a year and the hairdressers I go to say that I don't really need to go as often as I do, they just tell me to use an oil treatment at the bottom now and then.

Does anybody else go as infrequently as me?

I hardly go to the hairdressers, when i had my extensions i did alot, but my friend just gives it a trim now and again.

My hair is long enough to be extensions now anyway and its got a loose natural wave on the lengths

I'm sooo jealous, I have often wondered what my hair would be like with a gentle wave or a curl here and there but it has always been completely straight. I have tried to use curling tongs and have even been to the hairdresers in the past when I was a bridesmaid but nothing sticks, not even a french plait.

It may sound 'grannified' lets say, but if you have abit of time on your hands, buy some rollers and whack them in before bed! when i went more volume i do it!! it's so unattractive but really works a treat.
