Re: Hair coloring - is it good?

Hair coloring is one of those things where you get what you pay for. You wouldn't let someone who wasn't a doctor operate on you, so you don't need to get hair color from someone who is not experienced and knowledgable. Make sure your stylist knows what they are doing and the chemistry behind hair. Good Luck.

Re: Hair coloring - is it good?

I have always colored my hair myself.I have tried many brands, and the brand that

I like the best is Hydrience. It adds moisture to your hair and it feels and looks so healthy.

I'm not an authority on anything, but I do know hair color, and Hydrience is by far

the best for me.

Yes, it is harmful especially if your not following the instructions provided by the manufacturers or if you over-process it. If hair dye will stay longer than the instruction given, usually it allows pigment to penetrate to hair shaft. By leaving it too long or by applying too much heat, hair cuticle will not settle down again after coloring. Then, in that case, hair is damaged because the cuticle being lifted will allow the moisture to escape. Moreover, this will allow the hair to become brittle and breakable.
