Worst Shampoo?

Just wondering what everyones opinions on what the worst shampoo is. I was at a friends house this weekend and took a shower there, and used Suave shampoo and conditioner. My hair has never been so unmanagable after using Suave. Ugh, I don't know how she lives with that stuff.  Anything else I should avoid at all costs? I am very much into good deals and prices, but not for the sake of my hair!

Re: Worst Shampoo?

It is pretty strange that you disliked Sauve so much. I have actually read some great comments from people about it. Strange. I haven't used it yet. Now I guess I shouldn't even try. :)

I've actually heard too that compared to the other lower priced shampoos, that Suave was one of the best. But, it just didn't work on my hair at all unfortunately.

Re: Worst Shampoo?

If you look at the ph level in shampoo, Suave is the equivilant of dishwashing soap. Not a good thing. The ph balance in hair is 4.5-5.5. Try to find one that is ph balanced. If you have questions you can go on the companies website and look up the ph level. But I can tell you for sure suave is not ph balance is way to alkaline for hair.

Well I have ever heard about Suave let alone use it. I do use Sunsilk and Head and Shoulders. Both are quite good. I think they are a good bargain too. You can try them out if they are available in your country.
