Best way to deal with dandruff?

Does anyone have any good tips for how to deal with dandruff? My boyfriend has an issue with it, and it seems like most of the dandruff shampoos are a little cheap and don't leave your hair looking very good. Any recommended brands or other tips/tricks?

Re: Best way to deal with dandruff?

Arbonne has a daily self adjusting shampoo with Tea Tree oil.  The tea tree oil is a natural anti-microbial ingredient. It will help because it is ant-bacterial and anti-fungal which is waht dandruff is. Plus it makes your scalp feel like it is sucking on a mint! lol For more info please feel free to contact me or go to http://www.arbonne.com and click products.

Mix about 8 tbsp. peanut oil with the juice of half a lemon. Rub the mixture into your hair, leave on for 10 minutes and then wash as usual. I have tried it and it really works.

Re: Best way to deal with dandruff?

I have a natural solution for you guys. Mix a few drops of lemon juice in coconut oil and apply it on your hair. Let it be for about an hour. The oil conditions your hair and the lemon juice helps fight dandruff. This and frequent hair washing will solve the dandruff problem.

Re: Best way to deal with dandruff?

My son has had trouble with severe dandruff. He also had psorosis in his scalp when he was younger, at that time the doctor prescribed T-Gel shampoo. With the new dandruff problem, I couldn't afford the T-Gel, so I bought the Dollar General brand of Head & Shoulders. Believe it or not it worked. Within just a couple of weeks, his dandruff problem was gone and it was pretty bad.
