frizzy hair help

i have very frizzy hair and have spent a lifetime straightening it one way or another. As a result my hair is pretty damaged (I also colour my hair and had an awful accident a couple of months ago when I picked up the wrong dye and put a permanent bleach in my hair and it ended up burning about 5inches off the length-gorgeous colour though)I was hoping someone would have some useful tips on getting my hair looking halfway healthy again andwhat products they would use for my hair. Remember its not slightly curly and it doesnt have a slight kink its full on frizz. Look forward to your suggestions.

Re: frizzy hair help

Infusium is a great product to use on a daily basis. It is a leave in treatment. Also I would suggest you try to find St.Ives- they have a hair repair product that is WONDERFUL!! It smells of mint, I can't remember the name though. It came in a white bottle. But rare to find in the US. Also there is Aussie products- 3 minute miracle is good too.
Don't forget to use conditioner, and hot oil treatments are good as well. You may just have to cut off the too damaged ends as they may not be able to be repaired.

Re: frizzy hair help

Thanks 3plus3. I have cut off the damaged ends but the split ends just wont go away. It seems no matter how much I cut off the splits are still there.

Re: frizzy hair help

Have you tried rubbing coconut oil into your hands and applying sparingly onto your hair. You don't want to overdo it - too much will make your hair look greasy. Shampooing your hair less frequently also helps with the frizzies. Excess shampooing strips natural oils from the hair.
