Yes, as a general rule I do tip my hairdressers. I think 20% is a pretty good rule depending on the job they do and the cost of it. Most hairdressers here actually rent the use of their chairs and make their money off their tips.
Of course I tip my hairdresser. After all, I want him to do a good job the next time I show up too. :) My tipping varies between 15 to 25% depending on the job she has done.
