The Phoenix provides performing arts workshops and facilities for young people, with particular emphasis on the inclusion of disadvantaged and disaffected young people. Workshops aim to develop the communication and co-operation skills of individuals, as well as providing an opportunity for young people to explore their creativity whilst developing their sense of self worth, belief and citizenship. These activities that The Phoenix Arts Centre undertakes are also focused on engaging young people so as to provide positive engagement and constructive activities that develop the young lives we touch on a regular basis.  As part of our fund raising activities, which are vitally important to our continued support of the most vulnerable children and young people The Phoenix hosts Annual Charity Gala's. 

This is where we require your help at this years Charity Gala (19 April 2008), we are giving gift bags away to the ladies who attend the evening, inside the gift bags we are placing in scented candles, chocolates and with your help beauty samples. Any help you can offer will be much appreciated, we are looking to fill about 200 gift bags so as little or as much as you can donate will help whether it is 5 samples or 30, both of which will be gratefully received.
