THE US WAX QUEEN - LORI NESTORE - IS COMING TO TOWN

CLP Management, GMTTEC ans Couture Training are proud to host two days of seminars and a Masterclass with Lori Nestore aka "The Wax Queen" from California.  Lori is visiting the UK for the first time - launching her new Berins wax at the Professional Beauty Show at GMEX in Manchester.  After the show, before returning to sunny California, Lori will be in Birmingham for 2 days demonstrating and teaching her own very special and proven techniques.

The two days wil consist of interviews with the press, two 3 hour seminars with demonstrations, one for students and lecturers (12noon - 3pm) and one for therapists (4pm - 7pm) on October 15.  On Thursday 16 October there will be a full day intensive Masterclass for 8 experienced therapists. 

Seminar content:

• Client education - what are normal reactions
• Demonstration of correct body position - for the professional and client
• Demonstration of correct waxing techniques with both hard and soft wax
• Pricing
• Demonstration of correct speed waxing techniques
• Correct tools and implements, their care and hygiene
• After-wax care, professional and retail

The 1 day Masterclass content is the same theory as the seminar but with lots of practical work under Lori's watchful eye.

Alongside the seminars students, lecturers and therapists will have the opportunity to visit a mini exhibition of related products and companies, to purchase products and training courses at discounted prices and return home with a variety of samples.

In addition, the two days will provide valuable CPD hours related to subject specialism according to the Institute of Further Learning guidelines.
