The 2008 Alternative Hair Show takes place at the Royal Albert Hall in London, on Sunday 19th October and is now in its 26th year, having raised over £7 million for Leukaemia Research to date. The show features collections from some of the World's most talented hairdressers and is attended by over 4500 professionals.
This year, to celebrate his 80th birthday, Alternative Hair will pay homage to its International Patron, Vidal Sassoon. The show will also include collections and performances from hairdressing teams from Europe, the USA and Japan, as well as from the UK.
There will also be the Visionary Award - a competition that invites British hairdressers to create an image inspired by the work of Vidal Sassoon, with the winner chosen from a shortlist of 10 finalists on the night.
