Detox Patches
Modified By Fi on 20/07/2008 12:47:10)

Just read in Women and Home April Issue that they are hot topic with Champneys Detox Patches (£19.95 for 7 nights) storming off the shelves.

They are teabag like patches that are supposed to absorb toxins out of your body through the soles of your feet.

Has anyone tried these and what are your views?? Carla x

Avon have been doing them for a few months now - there are £8. I have sold loads. If you want me to order some for you let me know. I would charge £8.50 but that would include delivery.....

Re: Detox Patches

Hi Fliss, Have you tried them yourself???

I'm tempted but feel a bit silly putting tea bags on my feet if they dont work and it will be another buy that gets stuck in the cupboard.

Have any of your other customers given you any feedback.

Will see what people say then might take you up on your offer

Thanks, Carla x

Re: Detox Patches

I've used them (the Toxic Twins ones) - in January as part of a big detox kick - one that I do every year. I think they're a bit gimmicky to be honest. They turn black after the first night - that's supposed to be the toxins being withdrawn. Or cynics say that's how the patches react to the chemicals in foot perspiration...
I didn't think they made any difference - but I'd love to hear if anyone found them to be good!

Try new Colour B4 by Scott Cornwall, from £9.99 at Boots. It removes semi-permanent and permanent dye to return locks to their natural shade. It won't work on hair that's been lighted or bleached, though.

If your tan looks streaky or patchy, or if you just don't like the colour, try the new St Tropez Tan Detox. Simply pour some of the lemon, lavender and hazle-nut-infused oil into your bath, then massage skin with the exfoliating cloth provided to return skin to its normal tone. £25 from www.st-tropez.com
