wow, Nicole Kidman looks good! ofcourse you can be pale and beautiful! I'm really pale and my skin is in pretty good condition. It's smoothe and spot-free. I do wear a light dusting of bronzer, but I see pale skin as a sort of blank canvas =) Nicola from girls aloud is looking great lately too. She's launched a makeup range specifically for fair skinned women too apparently

Her skin looks great in that picture, but I agree with those who wonder how much post-processing work was done to it.

I am super pale naturally, and don't tan much. I don't think it's a matter of tan vs. pale, but whether or not your skin is even and clear. I think pale skin looks gorgeous on some women, a porcelain doll look, sort of.

I am a fair haired natural blond.  I am a 40 year old sunscreen devotee.  Compared to my highschool and college classmates I look years younger.  I am hapilly pale and intend to be beautiful much longer.
