Can you be pale and beautiful?
Modified By Fi on 20/07/2008 12:49:00)

Today's Sun newspaper reminds us "just how beautiful porcelain skin can be."

Do you agree that pale doesn't have to mean pasty? Or is your bronzer an essential beauty item?

Re: Can you be pale and beautiful?

Historically the palid look was preferred. The benefits of bronzing is a twentieth century notion.

Re: Can you be pale and beautiful?

When I was a teen and in my early 20s, I spent every sunny moment in the sun to get the perfect tan. Now I have actually learned to like the natural color of my skin. I think on some, a pale look is beautiful.

How many things do you think they did to this photo, outside of manipulating the lighting, to get her to look like that?
