Beauty Seeks Sufferers of Problem Skin
Sufferers of problem skin across the UK are invited to take part in a tried and tested study of a new bottled spring water designed to help acne.
Beauty, developed by Works with Water Nutraceuticals, is the UK’s first spring water containing ingredients clinically proven to improve the appearance and texture of the skin.
Acne is usually thought of as a teenage problem but increasingly people in their late twenties, thirties and forties are suffering, with a third reporting that they still get spots.
Beauty contains Praventin™, a bioactive protein rich in Lactoferrin. In clinical studies, Praventin™ and lactoferrin have been shown to reduce the development of bacteria responsible for many skin impurities, helping to prevent the formation of blemishes and spots.
Beauty water also contains 200:1 high extract Aloe Vera which has an antimicrobial and nourishing effect on the skin.
Works with Water is now seeking men and women with problem skin to take part in a study to monitor the effects of the water on their skin.
Volunteers will be asked to drink two 500ml bottles of the delicately flavoured water for eight to twelve weeks.
Jules Birch, founder of Works with Water says: “the launch of Beauty water has created a real stir and we have received requests from people all over the world who are anxious to try it.
“Ideally we are looking for men and women who have tried a number of different product and supplements to improve their skin without much success.
“We will supply them with the water and ask that they give us regular feedback and are willing to be featured as case studies.”
Praventin™ has been shown in clinical trial to reduce acne blemishes by 95% within two months. Each bottle of Beauty contains 0.1g of Praventin™, half of the recommended daily amount for sufferers of problem skin.
Beauty water is available from selected Tesco and Morrisons stores nationwide.
