new here

hi everyone :)

this is my first post so i hope im doing things right!! Well this is a bit embarassing, so at least im anonymous! I'm 26 and to be honest dont have much of a clue about how to apply foundation, eyeliner etc. I never really bothered much when I was younger, so didnt experiement. As a result I'm pretty clueless now! My friend put foundation, etc on for me and I was surprised at how good i looked! My skin is pretty dry especially on my forehead and apparently ive got rosacea (spelling?!) on my nose, which makes it quite red. I know you get different redness concealers but I'm a bit hopeless and would probably buy something unsuitable!

Sorry for going on and rambling, if anyone can give me any tips about the redness and where I could find some make up tips in general I'd really appreciate it :):):)

I started putting on make-up pretty late myself. So I know exactly what you mean. :) Any ways, here are two websites that are perfect in your situation. I'm sure you'll find every thing you need here and more.

Re: new here

Hope this helps.

You can get concealers/ foundations which are yellow/green based that help to hide the redness, as well as other blemishes. Not too sure but i think it is the yellow based on that helps to cover the redness, but am not sure so you may want to double check before you buy, but yu can get stuff to help with the redness. I have one that i use by Smashbox and it is brilliant. Got it on auction website, deffo worth looking out for.

Welcome chicaloca. You have an interesting user name. Are you trying to say you are a crazy chic? LOL. I think many of us could claim that, as well. Anyway I just wanted to welcome you to Beauty Swap Shop. I hope you find the answers you are looking for.
