Modified By Fi on 05/07/2008 14:17:13)

Marie Claire says GILLETTE VENUS VIBRANCE is the best shaver they have tried - do you agree?

Re: Best shaver?

Oh, i think this shaver is pretty crappy!! I think it's all hype and tbh i didnt think the vibration made any difference to my shave.

I find ASDA's womens disposable ones just as good.

I can't remember what they are but the ones with the moisturising aloe strip are the best, they are probably Gilette disposables :-)

Re: Best shaver?

I tried Tesco's own brand disposables and omg!! they ripped my legs to shreds! I also got a wonderful spotty rash all over my legs, i looked such a numpty in my shorts . I also have a problem the hairs on my legs grow back at 100mph and only a few hours after shaving they start coming bk! any advice?

I would love to know what people on here recommend.

Re: Best shaver?

Lozza have you tried exfoliating well before you shave, i find that as strange as it sounds using After Sun on my legs after shaving helps reduce the raised red bumps that i also suffer from at times. Also use the shavers with the aloe strips and a baby soap rather than a perfumed one, shaving foams contain fragrance which can sometimes irritate sensitive skin when shaving. Hope this helps a little bit.
