I've heard that the more SPF you use, the better. I use SPF50 everyday now. You should be applying sunscreen every morning after washing your face and moisturizing. You can also reapply later after few hours if you live in a hot climate or are in the sun. You don't need to apply tons but apply enough that your face feels like you have almost a mask on it.
