Welcome to the Beauty Swap Shop forum – the UK’s first and only specialist beauty exchange website. With free membership, you will find a friendly forum in which to swap your beauty products and fashion accessories. You will also have the opportunity to share your beauty tips, enter competitions, read our style Ezine and find links to a number of free cosmetic samples.
According to a survey by cosmetic company RoC, women aged between 20 and 65 waste £400 million on unfinished beauty products every year. The women surveyed gave a variety of reasons why they threw away newly-bought beauty treatments including not liking the way it made their skin feel or failure to deliver an improvement in their appearance. The majority of women said they wasted up to £75 a year whilst some admitted to wasting more than £150.
Launched in January 2007, there are now over 6,135 members recyling their misguided or unwanted beauty products on our dedicated Swap Shop. Following an upgrade by In8 Website Design, the revamped Beauty Swap Shop went live on 6 December 2007. Our membership and visitors continues to grow fast on a daily basis and we plan to develop some exciting additional features for 2010.
